In case of wider interest, I've done my best to replicate various real world displays, notwithstanding the small amount of information available online and the limitations of the simulation:

London Area Control

NATS Prestwick Centre NODE (may have been replaced by iTEC)

Shannon Area Control Centre

Always looking to improve if anyone in the know has any tips on how to make any of these more realistic. And of course, happy to share the details of my chosen settings if anyone wishes to replicate the above.

Regarding NODE - I was able to find a high quality BMP of the radar display in a PDF I once found and pulled the colours from it, these were the numbers I got

Background -> 0
Any Airspace lines -> 7a7a01
Green Radar Tag Labels -> 45dd67
History dots -> 84bc

Map 6 4e6f00
Map 9 4e6f00
(on the BMP range rings had a slight green tinge to them, which I believe the majority of the sectors use, although I have noticed GW INT/FIN have dark orange)

(Screenshot might not be colour profile accurate)
Also having to use override High DPI on application to get a crisp picture, but makes menus look funny!

JamesEGNS Hi James. You can set up a split tactical list by selecting 'Multi Bay' under the Tactical List Configuration section of the Tools tab in Preferences.

I've gone to my London Control folder to copy and paste the settings for my colourscheme but can't actually find any files that correlate to the name of my scheme in that folder. I wonder if the team might be able to explain where it might be stored otherwise? If not I can manually copy the details out here.

You need the two files that you named with your scheme, for example, my scheme files are C_EGPX Real World (that's the configuration settings) and EGPX Real World with the suffix .PRE

Feel free to send them to us at hq@londoncontrol.com and we can incorporate them into a future update perhaps. (Obviously a small discount will apply!)

As for iTec, when I went to the Centre it had been put on indefinite hold pending them evaluating the DPer system. I'll be in touch with my contact there to see where things are at currently.

I get an invite every month to join a DPER status Teams meeting, which I usually ignore. I might actually join in the next one to see where things are. Not holding my breath for any developments though! 🤣

PennineRadar Really like this one! Very accurate indeed, reminds me of Euroscope (guess they have an accurate profile for the British sectors). It would be nice to have a google drive or a page on the main website where we can find these presets with the corresponding screenshots that you sent above so that they are more accessible to other people.

Do you know I think it’s just the default ATC120! Haven’t looked at all at font options really

If anybody finds a BMP of the iFACTS radar display, then please do share! Haven’t really been able to find anything that comes close with all the low quality JPEGs and PNGs that are out there - a lot of them have had their colours modified when being saved and resaved!
