olibarke thanks for your review - we do our best to make London Control the best in its field! As for evolution for the future, we take all suggestions on board, but a lot of these things require deep-seated reprogramming, which is a mammoth job for some things. To quote the specific aspects you mention, we are very limited with WX events (except for winds). You can set your own flow rates by reducing the traffic rate (I do this all the time, being an ex-London flow controller!). Go-arounds are a little more tricky although not impossible: just vector them wildly off the centreline and they shouldn't capture the ILS. Not good controlling but it should produce a result. As for MIL, GA and HELO traffic, you can build your own in using 'new flight plan,' although technically they shouldn't call you. It does, however, give you a bit of extra work to do when vectoring low level traffic around stuff 'getting in the way.' As for CPDLC, alas, that is a definite no-go at the moment. Besides, it might take something away from the job of actually talking to pilots.
