Demo no sound

Hi,
I used to use LC years ago on CD.
I downloaded the demo to try before I re-purchase however, I get no sounds, the RX doesn't light up and no pilot voices are heard, the aircraft do however carry out my commands that ive input on the datablock by mouse.

Any help would be greatly appreicated, would like to get this sorted before I buy

Magic_Minion the demo version doesn't have sound, and it's also time limited and there are only two sectors. The full version has full functionality, including sound.
