Hi, again.
First of all, forgive me if I maybe mis-interpreting what you're saying.
So ...
1/ You are not using a "Filled CAS" to provide the darker fill; you are using the sector maps to provide that?
2/ Your sector map detail does not display on the screen after you have selected a particular sector to control?
3/ Other sector boundarys don't show on the Maps mini-menu?
Dealing with "1/" first. In LC it's normally the case that "Filled CAS" is specified in the map named after it. Unfortunately, that is universal regardless of which sector you're working; so the granularity of only filling the working sector isn't available via that particular map.
LC, as you have probably discovered, is very syntax intensive. Even a tiny error can render the whole simulation to CTD. The 'Routes.ini" is particularly bad in that respect. I did some experimentation using the London FIR, and it is indeed possible to have the Sector map display with "FILL" instead of "SOLID". So I'm wondering if there may be a syntax error somewhere, either in the Map_???.ini or your Sectors.ini.
Do the sectors not show up when you select the Brest FIR when starting the game? IF that is the case then the problem would be the Sectors.ini file. You say that the sector map selections don't show up in the Maps mini-menu? That would certainly be caused by not having an "adjacent' parameter for the particular sector.
Finally, be careful when adding comments in the Sectors.ini; If you go beyond the 40 character limit, then the comments will word-wrap on to another line that won't have a ";" prefix. The program will try to read the line - and break.
Those are my thoughts. I hope they might help. Let me know.
Cheers!
H
