What a nice alliteration...
I realized that the different new voices have very different base volume levels making some of them too loud (or other to quiet, depending on point of view). Would it be possible to give them an almost identical base volume? Also some of the fixes are spoken with a different "voice" sample within one confirmation, Voice 1 saying "Lufthansa 123, direct to" with a different voice finishing "..REFSO". Or so. You play lots you have realized what I mean. It takes away some of the immersion.

If you have different voices in the same transmission it means you might have to reinstall the audio files. I had the same problem, now fixed. There have been posts before how to do it.

I still have the issue that some fixes (BULAM, SASKI) are spoken in a different voice within an order confirmation. I could not dig out the thread reinstalling/fixing the audio files that you mentioned, @CloggyUk

The way I replaced my sound file directory:
1) copy your sound directory to a different location on your hard drive. Preferably outside the LC directories, I would even do it outside the DM Aviation directories.
2) Rename the ‘Sound’ directory something like SoundOriginal
3) copy the Sound directory from your latest update files to the LC directory where your now ‘SoundOriginal’ sits.

Hopefully this works. It did for me. Admittedly, I forgot to make a back up of my original files… doh.

Thanks, has not improved. It is not a biggie anyway, but sometimes fix names are missing when assigning a "direct" and as stated previously "BULAM" and "SASKI" are two where the voices changes mid-sentence. It is always a female pilots voice, if that helps. Anyway, not a big deal.

Just one revision to Cloggy’s advice…
Step 1 you should CUT not copy.

The issue is our updated sounds do not overwrite your local files….only replace. And as not all sound files were revised by us you end up with a mix of our sounds and the original sounds.
Cut and paste your sound folder and then replace with our data and the issue should be solved.

Thank you both. So are there fixes that are not recorded? I hear a lot of "route direct" instead of "direct ... FIX" in S13, for SASKI, BULAM etc.
So do I now have the latest voices installed but they lack some fixes while keeping a mix gives mixed voices from time to time but all fixed are spoken?

I have 8 subfolders "Voice0" to "voice7" in the sound folder now.
Should the Sound folder be placed directly under "London Control" or under "London FIR" btw? I fiddled and missed where the originals were talen from.

And....I might as well ask this here while figuring out a completely fresh install:

where are the exervises saved? I deleted an installation and reinstalled, the exercises are still in the dropdown in the start-window. Why?
Are there no more weekend routes that I can simulate by selecting "Weekend" in the orientation dropdown in the start-window or have I blown another installation?

The Transatlantic route options have been reduced to 3. North, Central and South in the current setup.
Regarding the exercise numbers, they are saved in a file. Everytime the Sim is started it overwrites itself.

So no more weekend routes, ok. The option did not only affect transatlantic but also all inner-GB routes that are weekend only e.g. UP5 or UM185 in S12, right? How are they handled now? In S12 I had some UK-overflys using these both that according to (outdated) manual are weekend only. Removing weekend routes, is that a simulation choice or has the real life airspace changed?

About the exercises I was just wondering that after a complete deinstall and reinstall upon first start old exercises were available in the drop-down starting screen. My expection was: all gone. Might be in the registry somewhere, anyways. Have a clean install now and will continue after I am back from some not so good but necessary family business next two weeks. Thanks for all the input!
