Good evening,

I managed to download the old Germany Radar. Can I use the Sectors with the new Program ? I am aware that the Navdata are 9 years old.

Is the new Program compatible with the old Sectordata or will it not work ?

Thanks for mentioning that you managed to download the old Germany Radar.

I have a few questions, if you don’t mind:

Where did you download the Germany Radar from? Is there another website or archive available? The original Aviascan website (www.aviascan.de) appears to be offline now, so I can’t find the files anywhere.
Could you explain how you installed it into the latest London Control? Did you simply copy a Germany FIR folder, or were there additional files or steps required?
Are you running the latest version of London Control with the old Germany Radar, or are you using an older version of London Control?
Does Speech Recognition / Voice Recognition work correctly with the Germany Radar, or does it require any additional configuration?

Any information, installation steps, or links would be greatly appreciated.

When you say old, how old? The first releases were encrypted, and I don’t think they will work. If you have files that are editable, it might. Create a Germany FIR folder, and drop the data files in there. You have to be careful with the sound files though. You don’t want to overwrite any new files. Make sure you have a backup in case it goes wrong! Obviously, all tweaks are made at your own responsibility!
