Traffic being given headings by intermedate North and south inside my airspace

I just had a 10 minute session on LLFIN and both of the intermediate directors were either putting aircrafts on top of each other, not handing them off or clearing them for the ils I have a screenshot of 2 aircraft being stacked on top of each other by INT N which will be linked to this issue

We have seen this happen and are aware of it probably being an AI issue. We will look to address it when we can as we appreciate it's not only unrealistic and untenable, but extremely annoying!

As far as I remember, the automatic sectors will not handover traffic that is not separated. It will continue on its programmed route. So in this case, they just continue to EGLL with INT N until separated. One way to solve this is to request a different entry level into your sector for handover when you spot it. So in your case, BAW168 was the higher aircraft, request it at 6000 or 5000, Then the CTN will continue to descent to 4000. Once separated, INT N should hand them off to you.

Thank you very much that makes sense but earlier today I was controlling llfin (yes I only got the game to control heathrow) but INT N sent 2 aircraft over to me at the same level with about half a mile of sepeartion

Max ah, I see. Not sure why that would have happened.
Just as an aside, only to control LL? Those are the most boring sector! Try TMA sectors. Bandbox LAM and LOREL. Or any of the TMA sectors really. Stansted (formerly Essex) used to be great, until they gave Luton traffic it’s own routes and holds. Try different sectors, and you’ll soon forget about Heathrow!

Aalstrema in real life LAM is split into 2 sectors. NE Deps and Lam. NeDeps and Lorel used to be combined all the time. Might have changed since the New Luton Airspace was introduced though. But for fun I run Lam and Lorel bandboxed usually.

Max there are some sectors notes for nearly all sectors. Press F2. This will give you a rough guide on what to do for each sector. They need some updating, but as far as I know the LC team are in the process of doing that.

Max as I said before, I find it rather boring…. Same headings, same levels, plane after plane. The old Essex was ok, apart from that approach sectors don’t really do it for me.

I have run a few quick LLFIN sessions with AIRAC 08/24 data. I have not encountered any issues with traffic not being transferred. Can I ask what AIRAC version you are running?
